  15. proud to announce the release of Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 2 for 
  16. the IBM PC CD ROM - the long-awaited sequel to the highly successful
  17. Formula One Grand Prix - setting new standards in high quality, 
  18. ultra realistic racing simulations.

  21. Grand Prix 2 is a true simulation of the Grand Prix racing season 
  22. featuring realistically modelled, high performance Formula One cars 
  23. and finely detailed representations of Formula One racing tracks 
  24. such as Monza, Silverstone and Hockenheim.

  26. Using texture mapping and accurate light sourcing, the cars are 
  27. exquisitely detailed and glint in the light of the sun adding to 
  28. the atmosphere of the occasion. As well as improved graphics and 
  29. sound, the artificial intelligence has been upgraded to offer a 
  30. greater, more realistic challenge to the player.

  32. The cars now race in a full pitching and rolling environment where 
  33. curbing affects the performance of the car and certain tracks have 
  34. banked corners which affect speed and traction. A distance hazing 
  35. effect is also visible as racing sponsors' advertising boards come 
  36. into focus as you hurtle around the track.
